Lustrous pieces of chalcopyrite, also known as peacock ore, from Mexico. Multi-colored chunks to brighten up any collection.
Chalcopyrite is a dull, brass-colored mineral that, when exposed to acid, develops a red, purple, and blue iridescence. Because of their color, pyrite and chalcopyrite are often called "fool's gold."
Our items are natural, the piece you receive may vary slightly in shape, color, and size from our product pictures.
